Change-log: - Session directory auto-name option added to the session properties dialog, as convenience. - Loading and saving a LV2 plugin's state has been vastly improved. IMPORTANT CAVEAT: From this moment onwards, when loading any newer saved sessions into older versions of the program, all LV2 plugins won't get their state restored correctly. - Track colors saturation introduced as yet another eye-candy option (cf. View/Options.../Display/Track color saturation) - Fixed VST3 number of channels query/report. - Fixed immediate crash when loading untitled or unnamed Instrument Definitions files (*.ins): base file-name is now taken as default instrument definition name or title. - Tempo (BPM) entry may now be specified with arbitrary precision, to at most 3 decimal positions in fractional part, while integer whole values are displayed with no decimal point. - Added option to keep MIDI clip editor windows (aka. piano-roll) always on top of the main window (cf. View/Options.../General/Keep editor windows always on top). - MIDI clip editor status-bar labels are not stretched to whole text size anymore, most specially for the current file complete path. This improved beside the overall sound, the dynamic responses of the different tube simulations. All still delivered in the two traditional forms: - a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session [5], NSM (Non/New Session Management [6]) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI [7] input support; - a LV2 instrument plug-in [8]. Key features: Supports jack-interconnect-ALSA MIDI I/O. 16 Channel Live MIDI Looper Every channel use it's own Color to display the played Notes per channel. MIDI File player/recorder Integrated Fluidsynth support. Release v2.0: Add recent file manager to have fast access to last used Sound-fonts and MIDI files Allow to append/remove MIDI files to/from the master loop while playing (Recent file menu) Implement 'View' menu to allow show/hide the MDID CC controllers and/or the Channel/Program/Instrument view. Allow to select the key-size for the MIDI keyboard (Big/Normal/Small) to better match the screen settings. Alsa Modular Synth / AMS (bugs/NSM)

Hi, AMS is still interesting software. Going strong since 2002? I'm using it now to try to understand sound synthesis a little better and I've always liked the sound of it. So kudos to the developers! All the LV2 alternatives fail on me so far, moreover they're doesn't seems to be specially designed to be a modular synth like AMS, with it's nice cables. They seems to handle it more like, we have LV2 plugins, and look if you want you can modular synthesis with it (and then you encounter problems with the AMS-LV2 port). Anyway, I can't find a place to report AMS bugs. The issue tracker on SourceForge seems to be closed. I've reported two to Debian, but the maintainer hints to me that he is not able to solve it. Therefor I'll report them here.
