True, unfortunately. After nearly 20 years of using Debian for all of
my computing I gave up on mainstream Linux about 5 years ago.
My dedicated DAW systems (no pipewire, no systemd, dbus disabled) now
run on Void Linux. I use OpenBSD everywhere else.
