My IP is statically assigned by my DSL provider, anyway, now I am
routing mail through the smarthost assigned to my employer by its
ISP. Many mailing lists consider my SMTP server running locally a
potentially open relay.
if all this is not an option, you are out of luck, but
still: don't
run your own smtp.
