therefore do NOT represent the average user
In other words : "I dont like splash screens so i'm not going to
implement
one" is (IMHO) a very very wrong attitude.
The same goes for any other
feature
I still don't get why splash screens are a "good thing". I don't want
a
big modal picture blotting out the middle quarter of the screen just
because an app is waiting to start up. Maybe there are other things I'd
like to do with the computer while I'm waiting.
