There were (and still might be) issues when doing the mastering by
connecting Qtractor's master outs left and right to the inputs of a
stereo track. Since there's no option to mix down the
multi-track-recording to a stereo wav file, it should be possible to do
the mastering this way.
If you have a 6-track-recording, you can mix down
those track to the two
tracks that are unused by your 8-track-recorder.
that would be the case and as said it should barely work on qtractor iif
those 6th _and_ 7th tracks are actually _after_ the previous 6 :)
