EXACTLY MY POINT - you don't seem to want to understand their reason(s)...
I seriously
doubt that there is "no reason" on their part - my guess
is that everyone has a different position and not everyone understands
(or wants to understand?) everyone else's reasons...
It think their "people will dupe our hardware easily!" reason is
complete BS. (Besides, they ARE making products we need,
they're just artificually
restricting our ability to use them.)
I think it's you who are putting the artificial restrictions on things...
