Hi!
Hi thanks for the interest of my programs ... i think
you are the only one
:-)
not for long with your tempo! :)
I want to explain a little history ... of topic .. sorry ... yes .. i pay
my bills playing for the people, when i was young .... Neron was emperator
of Rome ... i was make a test in the college, for apptitudes to select some
kind of university career, and my artists aptitudes was 0,00014% i will
never forget this number .. :-)
*laugh* but then again, you can prove anything
with statistics ;-).
and for
engeniering or some like that was
99% .. anyway i was decide to be musicien in
this life. Now, many years
after this i know i was make a big effort .... years ago i was discover the
computers and ... i like it. Well ... i'm not programer ... i need to learn
millions of things before i can say something like that. I only need to see
the code from other people, perfectly structurated, and i dont know how to
do it. Well, in fact they are many many of basic things i really dont know
it. And .. i dont have anyone close who can explain me :-(
But, <warm fuzzy voice> we are all here.</> :)
Though, having written the programs you have already provided, you are most
definately a programmer!!
If you are worried about your capabilities to structure your
programs/programming, there are ways to deal with it, like:
- program program program (you are already doing that), the more you do it,
the better you will become.
- read other peoples source code to get a feeling how people solve things
(especially with regards to structure), this is a hard thing to do though
(atleast it is for me).
- read some books/guides about programming
- try to formalize your programming: divide it into design and implementation
phases:
* in the design phase you think mainly about what you want to accomplish,
and how to do it in a bigger picture so you don't have to tear it apart
later when you add more features.
* in the implementation phase you actually do it, when you start this up you
should know what parts are needed.
Big software projects often have even more phases, like a requirement phase
that occurs before the design phase.
Maybe all of this was the causant of the terrific graphic design of my
programs :-)
I haven't been able to test your programs...yet, but I looked at the screen
shots some days ago and.....well... the screenshots are small, that may be
the reason, but it seems the colors may need to be changed a little ;).
, and .... four your resolution problem ... i have one
good new
an one bad new, the good one was ... i was never think in this problem but
do the main window with all the widgets resizable i think will not be a big
problem, i will try to do it, but the bad new ... is .. the comming version
0.02 has another "main" window for batch play .. like Band in a Box ...and
resize in that window maybe will be a problem.
If you go for more band-in-a-box type functionality I promise to do backflips
:)...oh well... in theory anyway ;)...
Regards,
Robert
