For me it would be better to have a separate drum-synth. So I can
drive it with seq24.
As far as I know you can drive Hydrogen just fine from seq24. You don't have
to use the internal sequencer unless you want to.
If you really want to have a simple solution, dig out some drum soundfonts and
load them into fluidsynth.
