jackmidi is so much better than alsa midi for timing that I am trying
very hard to get away from alsa all together.

interested in merging JACK MIDI... so it didn't
happen. Alex's request is the FIRST request I've heard
besides mine.
This really surprises me. I would have thought you'd be inundated with
jackmidi requests.
