I'm trying to build it on gcc2.96, I got some
random libtool error, which I
made go away with ./ltconfig ltmain.sh. Its still not working though.
Steve, do let us know if you succeed. I have the same issue with the
compiler, so if you can get it built with 2.96 that would be good news
for me too.
