Dear Clemens,
Thanks for the reply, even though it is sad news.
I'm still considering getting one of these, and using on my Windows machine
until things get fixed.
I really need the combination of: usb powered and mic input (for mobile
recording with a laptop). M-audio MobilePre and maybe Tascam US-122 are the
only (inexpensive <=$200) USB devices that I know of with mic input. The
Edirol UA-5 looks good too, except it requires external power, so it is not
great for mobile use. Any other ideas welcome.
