IIRC correctly, it's different for ascending and downward slopes.
left is start, right is end, which could be up or down, at least in

LOL. In the USA, where the '12%' is, there would just be a truck, so
you can immediately see whether its an up or a down slope.
The '12%' would be below the whole thing.
