There might be some concrete examples, sure, but if you mean that in
general all or most
software on Windows is restricted in such a manner, I personally would
want
some proof.
There's a misunderstanding here. I'm criticising plugin design choices
which
make my job difficult, regardless of platform. That includes Linux.
