I believe JAMin creates a second thread if JACK is
running at a very low
latency, to improve the DSP efficiency, or something. So I think you
can ignore that case for now. I don't have the code in front of me,
this is just what I have heard on the list.
Isn't jamin (like any other jack-app) already using two threads, one for audio
and one for gui?
