The RTC is a service which provides a simple timing interface via /dev/rtc.
Most applications don't use it. So in most cases upping the rtc irq prio does
not do anything (as long as it's not used, it doesn't matter)..
The statement "the system will hang otherwise" is certainly false in general..
There are some applications though that can make use of the RTC (mainly
sequencers). For these it makes sense to setup a high irg prio for RTC.
