In fact, if you try just playing along with your

(Hint: Input it step-time first, and play it. Listen to the wandering
*relation* between the beats. Start easy with 2:3, 3:4 etc.)
give me a break, please.
i've spent one year alone on practicing rhythm against and with
a metronome. i've played along with sequencers when you probably
thought 5/4 was just the same as 1.2. i've played with musicians
from europe as well as from colombia, africa or turkey (nobody
from india yet unfortunately, but i haven't given up and will
do when i get there). i've played with trained musicians from
conservatories, and i've played with drunken fools on jam sessions.
i still don't know much about music, but i do have some practice
in playing along with strange rhythm.
