note: the hint didn't say
"exponential". it said "logarithmic".
If V represents the value sent to the port, and P the corresponding
widget position, it means that the function V -> P should be logarithmic
wich is the same as saying that P -> V is exponential.
It depends on your P of V which name makes the most sense :-)
