Qt has QAtomicInt and QAtomicPointer. Furthermore it has QSharedData and
assorted QSharedPointer(s) used for ref-counting and copy-on-write. All atomic
(on all Qt-supported platforms) and very useful.
Doh! These /never/ turned up in any of my (google)
searches, so I wasn't aware of them. Thanks for pointing
them out.
