i think you underestimate its brilliance.
gold-plated connectors are a scam that collects once, and only once, per scam.
192kHz keeps on paying out for disk manufacturers, RAM suppliers and
CPU makers for months, even years after the initial scam has been
pulled off. not only that, but you can even sub-scam your friends by
pointing out how much better it all sounds, and they'll be even more
afraid to note that it doesn't because, well, everybody understands
gold, whereas ... kHZ ??
