On 27 November 2002, I said:
I'm rather confused by the semantics of write() in
blocking and
non-blocking mode. Specifically, in the default mode (blocking, no
SNDCTL_DSP_NONBLOCK ioctl() call) [...]
Oh yeah, almost forgot a somewhat related question: is there a way to
put the dsp device back into blocking mode? Ie. to undo the effect of
ioctl(dsp, SNDCTL_DSP_NONBLOCK)? Or is it a one-way-only operation?
