Is what generates the effect analysis (frequency and phase response) in
Ardour.
The code is quite easy to [re]use. Just feed a delta impulse into your
filter, call FFT::analyze() with the result and you get two arrays:
power_at_bin[], phase_at_bin[] YMMV.
