Yeah, that kind of thing would be really useful. (I'm way too busy this
week to look at it though).
What I'll probably do is go through the audio stubs and add much more
specific comments, explaining exactly what's expected of all the
methods, and release that. If people want to get into it more deeply,
probably best to email me directly, as this is probably quite boring for
the rest of the mailing-list.

So what you you need is pointers to snippets to demos that shows "how to
do it". Something like jack_simple_client.c and seqdemo.c, right?
If you describe what the expected behaviour is for a call, what it will
do on the other platforms, then I am sure we will be able to help you
navigate around.
I suggest you ask one question for each class? That way we can monitor
if there are any takers for each specific subject.
