You can replace line 468 in /src/GtkFastMeter.cpp
GdkWindow* window = gtk_widget_get_window(GTK_WIDGET(fm));
with
GdkWindow* window = GTK_WIDGET(fm)->window;
that will do it for Gtk+2.12

it did build and the GUI is fine. I need to go shopping now, sorry, no
time to test it on 64 Studio 3.0-beta3 now. It seems to be fine. I like
the GUI.
