I'd ask here, how close are you chaps to implementing jackmidi, and
the ability to create as many jackmidi output ports as is required by
the user?
there is an experimental MusE branch here

which contains emerging jack-midi support.
I can't give you a timeline, if all goes well it won't be too long.
