ROSEGARDEN-4 1.0 RELEASED!
Nice! :-)
It built from source and worked without a hitch - just like that!
That's definitely a first for me with any serious C++ application...
(Yoper Linux 2.0 upgraded to 2.1 + 2.6.10 kernel + some cutting edge
devtools and stuff I installed from source for my own hacking.)
Hooked it up to Audiality through ALSA sequencer and that seems to
work fine, though I managed to crash it by loading a bank of patch
names in the wrong place or something... (I'll investigate further if
you need details.) Haven't tried any JACK, DSSI etc yet, as I haven't
installed any of that on this machine yet... (Only work and no fun.)
Now, how the h*ll am I supposed to get any (non-musical) work
done!? ;-)
