Yes, I spoke to them too at LinuxWorld and thought that a MAS driver for
Jack would be a pretty neat thing, if one didn't care so much about
network latency.
Agreed, for RT operation then 1494 is probably the way to go, but when you
dont care about latency (or quality*) MAS is good too.
* IIRC MAS silently resamples, so I wouldn't use it in my studio. It would
be fine for playing mp3s though.
