Agreed, our German brethren seem to want to spell out
El-Ah-Dee-Es-Pee-Ah, which is pretty inconvenient.
Same in Sweden - although we tend not to spell "acronyms" that long...
Anyway, that's another advantage of TLAs; just three letters to
spell, if you're into that. :-)
OTOH I think Joern was amused when I insisted on
pronouncing luss,
as in "can you just ls that directory".
