Alright, I'm at least partially sold on chionic. I think that there are some
usability concerns (for me, anyway), but the core features seem to be there. I
would be happy to continue development (in one way or another).
Anyone interested in helping?

I'll try the software first to see what it does exactly. seems my
first job will be to get it to compile on my system. seeing the error
message, I'll take a quick guess... gcc 4.1...
Is the email you where writing from ok to tell you how things worked for me ?
