Great. Btw: does anyone know exactly what framerate non drop 30 fps MTC
has? Should i really send with 29.97 fps?
MTC haven't got a 29.97 nondrop. But it would have if you slowed it
down :)
From:
http://www.sfu.ca/sca/Manuals/ZAAPf/t/tcode_rate.html
Frame rates are as follows:
30
Sometimes referred to as black &
white, used in music or sound
applications where no video
reference is required.
29.97
nondrop
Sometimes referred to as colour
code, used in non-broadcast
applications. Standard in countries
with 60 Hz alternating current.
29.97
drop frame
Used in broadcast situations.
Standard in countries with 60 Hz
alternating current.
25
Standard in countries with 50 Hz
alternating current for all
applications.
24
Little used - ostensibly for film
use.
This page (although more on video editing) seems to
imply so:
http://www.editorsguild.com/newsletter/Updates96/tipdrop.html
i used this page as reference to the MTC messages:
