What would make sense is an option in the njbridge receiver that would make it assume (and check) that the sample clock is synced to the one of the backend, and bypass resampling. All the rest of the logic would stay in place, to ensure a defined latency regardless of how the periods on backend and transmitter are aligned (they could even be different).
