Interesting ideas. I'm not a CSound user, but
am a MIDI user. Any
thoughts about getting autocomp to generate MIDI output files also?

Producing MIDI output is on the todo list for Autocomp, though I'm not
sure what the best way to go about it is. I'm looking at Midi::Simple
which seems a good place to start.
