Yes, so what is the cleanest : malloc'ing an additionnal frame and not
filling it or loosing a frame of data that should have come from the
SRC ?
  In addition, src_simple will not write beyond the
length of the
 output buffer length that you specify in the output_frames field. 
You obviously designed this field for this, yes.
