A crash backtrace would be really helpfull...
Does the machine have a serial port ? Then please log the crash with a
serial console.
I said "it freezes", not "it crashes and gives me tons of logs to post
here" :-(
And the newer laptops (like mine) don't have a serial port anymore...
Or use netconsole.
