Besides my previous statement about use of front,
rear, default PCMs,
what other details might an ALSA mini HOWTO for end users cover?
Freely adopted from my talk about linux audio usability at LAC 2005:
»Users dislike reading documentation and hackers dislike writing
documentation. So a reasonable thing seems to be to reduce the amount
of documentation needed.«
