Yeah... *heh* I see a great deal of that sort of metadata related
(and other) feature creep in VST. It's becoming a mess, and people
are whining about it more and more frequently.

This is a
classic example of where external metadata is
noticably superiour.
Yeah. Especially since users may not agree with the authors'
choices, or may simply want to have plugins categorized based on
different criteria.
