Actually, it is what you were complaining about
(and blaming "UNIX" for,
unfairly for obvious reasons). You only brought up GL because I
mentioned your drivers and you got triple-exclamation-point agitated for
some reason.
I guessed, and I guessed right. That is all.
OK, I have been around BIOS now, and changed the monitor connection as
well (so I can see what I write ... )
I have no GL whatsoever now, but - lo and behold - Clearlooks is
actually snappy? I wouldn't have believed that without trying it out.
Going down again ... cu!
