Yup. I'd predict "oversample and polyphase" ;)

Well, theres that discussion going on on music-dsp at the moment, but
failting that theres always the R.B-J filters, Mattias N. has produced
ladspa plugins of the filters and the parametrics are in single_ +
triple_para.
i'll probably still do the integer-period saw wave
recordings
unless you say you don't think we need those.
Up to you I guess. I'm still interested as an academic exercise, but I
think we can patch together something nice sounding from what you have
now.
