What I'd like to know is where this mongrel is started. It used to
be a service, and I disabled it when using F8, but it's no longer.
Don't tell me I have to compile my own kernel to get rid of it ...
It's still a service, and pretty much mandatory these days
together with hal and policykit, and not having it enabled
means you don't get your ACL on /dev/snd/* and whatnot. Meh,
resmgr seemed to have been so much better :/
