It looks like there's not even much reason for applications to add
explicit support for the old converters, but if they did, would an
AC_CHECK_DEFINE on one of the _OLD_ names be enough to check if they
are present, and are there any other API changes at all?
I actually do intend to drop the SRC_OLD_SINC_* converters by the time
of the 0.1.3 official release.
I only really enabled them for this pre-release so people can easily
do A/B testing without compiling against two versions of the library.
