I didn't want to make that difference, but as
every
mainboard nowadays has a "decent" audio chip onboard and as
every more demanding user (the "professional") has a second
card, too, why not just split applications between those
two?
I think that's not the point we're discussing.
Of course, if you're disappointed with your internal card
you'll buy a better one.
But even the new one: Don't we want to plug it in, fire up
[your application here], tell it to use the new one and start
making music?
