We must be misunderstanding each other. You seem to be saying that there
are many companies off in the wings *trying* to pay LAD members to develop
software, but that we keep turning them down. That's obviously *not*
true.
I don't know about "many" but it's happened to me. I've looked for
software
engineers to assist in developing a Linux-based audio product and had
difficulty finding development/consulting help. And this was for a funded
project.
Perhaps I'm theonly one.
