Greetings,
I'm trying to get IRCAM's Open Music 5.2.1 running here, but I'm
having
various difficulties. For now, I'll focus on this one: I'm trying to
build MidiShare (it's required by OM) on my 64-bit machine (64Studio),
and I've got this far :
make -C kernel

Has anyone ever compiled MidiShare for a 64-bit machine, and if so,
how
? I'm using Albert Graef's patches for MidiShare 1.91, but they don't
address the 64-bit problem. Is MidiShare even maintained anymore ?
I had
troubles compiling 1.91 on my 32-bit box too, and since it's required
for Open Music I'd like to figure out how to build it on both boxes
here.
Some time ago I did write to GRAME re: MidiShare development but
received no response.
Any suggestions ?
Best,
dp
Hi Dave,
MidiShare is not 64 ready for now. I would suggest to contact Yann
(orlarey(a)grame.fr) for more info on that.
