hi... this is my first time online since lad Conference.
so i would like to announce galan-0.2.14 (as seen on lad Conference)
galan is another modular synthesizer. It supports sub patches like pd
and jmax. But has separation of mesh and Controls.
It also supports OpenGL Scene Graphs which can be controlled by your
audio data, the sequencers etc...

Hi Torben:
./configure is giving me problems when it comes to libgtkgl. It says:
checking for gdk_gl_query in -lgtkgl... no
GtkGL not found
but 'whereis libgtkgl.so' reveals:
libgtkgl: /usr/local/lib/libgtkgl.so /usr/local/lib/libgtkgl.la
/usr/local/lib/libgtkgl.a
and 'nm libgtkgl.so.5.0.0 | grep gl_query' reports:
00001678 T gdk_gl_query
Any idea why configure doesn't recognize that I do have the lib ?

hmm.. strange: i use the aclocal macro that comes with gtkglarea 1.2.3
If you are using debian use the deb package. Why is liblrdf not in
debian ?
I did not change very much on the gl side and this tarball configured
and compiled fine on franks machine at lad conference.

.. because no one packaged it yet for debian.
I have put a version at
deb http://devel.demudi.org/demudi woody demudi
I am thinking of uploading it to debian if the package is really stable
enough.

It didn't work. However, I checked config.log as you suggested, and I
discovered that there were some other unresolved symbols that indeed
were undefined in my freshly recompiled libgtkgkl. I'm not sure where
the problem starts, but it doesn't have anything to do with your
software. Somehow my compile of libgtkgl is faulty. I'll report back to
you when I find some time to attempt fixing the problems.

I head a short glimpse at the code of gldisplay.la.c, but i wasn't able
