Is that for choosen developers only ?
Maybe related information should be added to

When clicking the edit button, I get excactly this:

What do you want to extend the page MIDI Software with? Let's say you have
created a new page "midirandomizer", or it already exists but is not in the
MIDI Software list and you want to add it. On the midirandomizer page, you
should have at least:

...

~~META:title=MidiRandomizer~~
~~META:desc=Generate MIDI (SMF) files according to randomization

Fist I wanted to understand the logic behind the wiki-lists, because
they are being used often there.
Then I thought about adding Epichord to the midi_software list
(I think that would be the appropriate category),
since I had not heard of it until some hours ago.
(http://evanr.infinitymotel.net/epichord/)
That is to say, the list is being generated automatically through the
"tag>" command
and from the META tags within a dedicated wiki-page ?

That's right, they're dynamically updated. This is similar to MediaWiki's
"[[Category:Foobar]]" which will enlist the article in the Category:Foobar
page.

You create a new page in http://wiki.linuxaudio.org/apps/all/YOURAPPHERE
and add {{tag>midi_software}} somewhere on that page.
The {{topic>midi_software}} picks up all pages on the Wiki with the
given tag.
Also you should use {{tag>tag1 tag_2 Tag_number_three}} instead of
{{tag>tag1}} {{tag>tag_2}} etc.
