Hi to all,
I´m looking for a codec that is able to do realtime compression as
fast as
possible in order to use it for high speed
audioconferencing.
Thought about values < 5ms ... don´t know what´s possible and what not

Hi,
Don't know if it's applicable, but there are finished apps for this (dunno
about the 'high speed' part).
E.g. http://www.gnomemeeting.org/
never tried it...but it's supposed to be rather good (?)

GnomeMeeting is based on the OpenH323 audio/video conferencing suite,
which uses the speex codec: http://www.openh323.org/
If OpenH323 is not fast enough, there's also the Robust Audio Tool:
