Hi all
Is any one else having a complete system freeze running
Horgand? My setup p4 - 256 ram - slackware 10 - kernel 2.6.9. -
gcc 3.4.2. There were no compile errors and the app starts up
from within terminal session once it hits the screen my system is
completely dead - no mouse movement, etc - have to reboot.
This could be the good old linux-2.6.x + realtime jackd + DRM driver
problem. I have only experienced it with Qt-based jack clients though.
Do you run jackd in realtime mode? If so try without '-R' or disable memory
locking with '-m'.
Other things you could try:
- disable DRI in your XF86Config (if you can live without 3D graphics)
- use linux-2.4.x
cheers,
