i would like to have solution where i can use any headphones and where
there is no bigger latency then 10ms (at least ;).... all pro
solutions are so f* expensive....

I suppose you mean 'no bigger than 10ms /at most/'.
The current RT kernel from the Mandriva team is down to less than 0.3ms,
but your problem is probably related to the default alsa framesize of
(what is it?) 1024 or so. I am confident that the fine manual of your
application mentions this and how to bypass, if only by a short
sentence, no?

i have no problem with my rt kernel... gentoo 2.6.24-rt1 #4 PREEMPT
RT.. i was asking [OT] about the headphones... as in real headphones
without running linux-rt inside ;)

At work I use Sennheiser RS 140, ~150 Euros, well worth the money. No
latency as far as I can tell, fine with video. 2 AA's for power. Makes
you bump into things, though, as your head will have twice its usual
size. The RS 130 goes for around 100 Euros.
The disclaimer part wants to say: Other than that I tend to avoid
Sennheiser like the plague. Their wireless mics (EW series) are a
joke, close to ridiculous. But then, you didn't ask that, did you?

Sounds like what you are looking for are IEMs(In-Ear Monitors). Unlike the
other poster I don't have much problem with Sennheisers for wireless, but
the Shure PSM600 series is the one I have used most on this and have been
pleased with them.
