kai, do you still have copies
of the old archive, or have they all been
migrated to ccrma?
yes, I still have the full archives for all the three lists (starting with
LAD in 1998). I'm also maintaining the archives at
http://lalists.stanford.edu/
... plus I also maintain the URLs to the old LAA/LAU/LAD archives at
eca.cx alive (they now refer you to the above stanford hosted site;
try for instance
http://eca.cx/lad/2004/12/ ).
I'm using a simple rsync script for
lalists.standford.edu, so I can easily
upload the whole set elsewhere as well if needed (although preferably
the continuous updates only to one place).
This is perfect ;-)
I'm not that fond of moving the archives around
very often, as you always
risk breaking zillions of links (LAD/LAU/LAA archives contain a lot of
useful stuff people can link to from blogs/articles/etc/etc).
No problem there since it will be a one shot upload. I can migrate
archives of all that was posted on
music.columbia.edu since 2002. All
we need is what came before. As for the futur messages, they will be
archived anyway directly by linuxaudio.org's mailman.
