re all,
looking for jack and osx compatibility, I've found this link hitting
first on google http://jackosx.com which looks pretty much what i
needed, except that i cannot find the source code anywhere.
does anyone knows more about it?

Seeing as the file downloads are hosted on Sourceforge, my bet is that its
code is in SF's CVS repository....

in addition to thomas' answer, note that the "JACK" inside jackosx is
exactly the same source code as is released and "distributed" by
jackaudio.org (though recently, it switched to using jackdmp, instead of
jackd). JackOSX just bundles it along with a few other tools as well.
