hi!! this is my fist post on LAD, something may know me from my
presence on #lad @ freenode :P
btw i've a question for you all..
is someone using a powermac for linuxaudio apps? if yes what audio
interface do you use?
i've got an imic but i've a loooooot of troubles!!

Yes, a Powerbook (started with a Psimo G3@500, now an AlBook
G4(a)1.25).
USB-Audio Emagic EMI 2|6 and the internal screamer for on-the-road use.
works (almost) perfectly with kernel 2.6.0-test9...
Troubles generally seem to come frome endianess-issues and a certain
x86-centredness of linux apps, especially concerning the optimizations
(mmx- and sse-assembler is often there, ppc and altivec seldom).
But still those are great machines to run Linux on :-)

powerbook g3 pismo.
if yes what audio
interface do you use?
digigram vxpocket and the internal sound chip (called screamer iirc).
works fine with alsa.

mine snapper requires to load and unload and again re-load the module
to get workin... btw... i was just serching around for some cheap usb-
audio interface, just to get my guitar and my keyboards into a jack
graph :)
